Hi, I’m Charlie - founder of ‘Get Outdoors in Scotland’. I am an enthusiastic explorer and passionate photographer, and I take every opportunity I can to find new places to walk, camp, and explore in Scotland's beautiful outdoors.
This brand was created from two of my passions: a love for the Scottish outdoors and a belief in its ability to positively impact our mental health.
After completing my degree in psychology in 2025, I wanted to combine everything I had learned with everything I love, that is, helping people and encouraging them to get outdoors, explore, learn and experience the real, long-lasting benefits of nature.
Our clothing is designed for people who live for adventure, or who need a little encouragement to take that first step outdoors, regardless, every purchase helps others do the same.
All proceeds from sales is donated to Venture Scotland, a fantastic charity that support young people’s mental wellbeing through outdoor experiences. This could be anything from hillwalking in Glencoe, coasteering in the North Sea or camping and bothy residentials, and this is all supported with 1-2-1 support for the young people. Venture Scotland’s aim is to provide young people a chance to discover meaning and hope in their lives.
